1. Two goats in a pod
Here, we have two goats that are clearly looking to their owner for something. He or she is probably attempting (successfully, we might add) to lure their gaze with a tasty treat. While the treat is undeniably not appetitive to us, the goats are clearly interested.
Whatever is on offer here, the curiosity of these goats and their unbroken gaze to their left is clearly worthy of the adjective “cute.” We’d venture a guess that not a single person on Earth would find this photo non-cute. If they do, they probably aren’t human.
2. ‘Baaaaaa’
Bleating goes the goat. And this one bellows its bleats. While we don’t know whether the goat is hungry, perturbed, or just in want of attention, it is bleating — and bleating hard. While the audio of such a bleat might not be the most soothing sound, the goat at least has a cute face.

When a goat opens its mouth, you had better listen. You can’t let the bleating fall on deaf ears. If you do, the noise is sure to haunt your dreams. We’ve experienced this personally. Goats have some special ability to haunt. You’ve been warned!
3. A kid walks into a bar with …
OK, kids aren’t allowed in bars. Moreover, this photo was clearly not actually taken in a bar. But despite these two facts, the kid does have quite the assemblage of furry little animals by his side. And while his mammalian friends vary in composition from monkey to rabbit, our attention goes to the goat.

While we’re not exactly sure what this kid’s doing with these animals (how’d he get in that basket, anyway?), it looks like he is at least having a fun time. As for the basket, maybe he was placed there to keep him firmly isolated from the big kid’s table.
4. Feeeeeeeed meeeeeeeee!
While we’re never entirely certain what the aim of the bleat is, we have some clues. Here, we’re just going to go ahead and assume that the goat is bleating for food. And, I mean, hey, who wouldn’t bleat if the result was that your owner would run and get you some tasty chow?

Anyway, while some of us might not actually enjoy hearing the bleats of a hungry goat, I think we can all agree that the sight of the bleating is at least something to be admired. The cute furry mammal has just bleated its way into our hearts. And there it will stay.
5. Cute goat
There’s something difficult to describe about the cuteness of baby animals. And here, we are nearly at a loss for words. Given the goat’s diminutive and furry stature, we can’t help but to balk at its ineffable cuteness. It’s hard not to.

But once we regain our calm, calloused cool, we can understand where the cuteness actually comes from — the tiny eyes, the baby limbs. Something about it just compels us into action. We want to take care of the goat, nurture it into a healthy adulthood. This goat isn’t ours, however, so someone else will have to step up to the task.
6. Goat in a bag
Sometimes you just have too tasty a treat to allow your friends and relatives an idea of what you’ve got stored inside your bag. However, sometimes your friend happens to be a goat that can smell your lies and deceit. And because of this, they will sniff you out.

Here, we have just such an occasion. Clearly fed up with the secrets and Machiavellian antics of its young owner, this goat decided to cut to the chase and get into the bag. While we too are uncertain as to the contents of the bag, at least the goat now knows. Thank goodness.
7. The real cutest baby
The innocence and purity of a tiny baby goat is nearly unmatched in the animal kingdom. While many will rave over puppies and kittens, the true cutest animal award should be given swiftly to the goat. And this photo should tell you why.

Again, the smallness of the goat is enough to nearly compel us to tears. If we saw a baby of this tiny size, we would surely want to hold it. Unfortunately for most us at this very moment, no such cute goat is near us. Maybe we should all move to a goat farm?
8. What’s in your ear?
We never knew that goats had such a strong predilection for otology (the study of the ear), but this goat is playing its cards for all to see. While we know the endeavor of medical school to be a great — and not to mention, expensive! — pursuit, this goat clearly has its goals set.

That, or it has a penchant for spreading scandalous rumors. Unfortunately for us, we don’t really have the tools with which to discern whether this goat is checking for signs of cochlear damage or telling the woman that her hair looks terrible. We’ll assume the former.
9. I’ll take that
“Hungry Hungry Goats” should’ve been a game we played as children. Given their desire to eat nearly everything around them, it would’ve been apt. In fact, some might even say that goats are more ravenously hungry and deserving of a game than hippos.

OK, maybe not. But were the game actually based on goats, at least it would be far cuter. In the case of hippos, there’s not much to lavish over. The animals aren’t exactly 10s on the cuteness scale. But it doesn’t really matter — we can all enjoy the goats regardless.
10. Please give me a haircut
There’s an old saying that haircuts are a waste of money. Where — and why — this saying exists is not something many of us understand. I mean, they make us look nice and clean, right? Well, here we have a prime example.

While this goat is clearly one of the cutest around, it is by no means trimmed and ready for its next bachelor date. While the goat has certainly cleaned its loft and prepared for its next goat-y experience, it hasn’t had its hair trimmed in some while. He needs help!
11. Goat cadet, ready for training
The Air Force is known as one of the more difficult training programs in the military. For goats, however, the process is a breeze. It’s almost as if their hooves were programmed specifically by natural selection to fly planes. Who would’ve guessed?!

OK, while it might actually be a bit challenging for a goat to fly a plane, that doesn’t mean that they can’t be cute in front of one. This goat in particular, likely someone’s pet, is probably a strong candidate for the Cutest Goat in the Military Award. We would like to nominate it for this honor.
12. Why hello there
This is clearly one of the most innocent animals on the planet. Having grown into a comfortable living position here at the ranch, it knows that through time and space it will only grow more adorable. That is most certainly why it is giving us this most beautiful gaze.

It’s almost as if this is a goat model, just staring at us for a nice little picture. Well, this goat got what it asked for. And for that, I am sure we are all better off. What was that saying? There’s nothing more soothing for the soul than a goat on parole? Yeah, I think that’s it.
13. Like goat, like son
Sometimes you capture one of those rare moments of affection between a boy and his pet. Here, you have the perfect example of that. The goat, clearly one of the cutest goats we’ve ever seen, is getting held by a little boy who holds for it the most sincere affections.

And for this, we are happy that the photographer was able to capture such a brilliant moment. This is clearly something that the boy will remember well into old age. The affection between man and goat is so deep as to be unfathomable. It is a connection we know well.
14. I’ll take that
Everybody knows goats to be playful. I mean, who doesn’t? And because of this playful nature, we often find these goats getting into trouble. Here, however, we have a fun mixture between the two. This goat is mischievous yet gregarious, fun but teasing.

While the goat isn’t doing anything that might be considered uncouth or unwanted, it is nipping at this little boy’s hood. The reason for this is likely that the boy is carrying a chicken, which is clearly offensive to the goat. The two are, after all, bitter rivals.
15. Just a nice little comb
All of us like to get groomed. In fact, the joy from grooming is in many senses programmed into our mammalian physiology. The term, allogrooming, specifically refers to the grooming of one creature by another creature — normally of the same species.

Here, however, we have the allogrooming of a human toward a goat. While there is clearly an interspecies relationship going on here (of the business-professional type), that doesn’t mean that the goat is not enjoying itself. I mean, hey, who doesn’t like a good combing!
16. Gimme
It’s not too often that you see a goat making a baby uncomfortable. In fact, the experience is normally the opposite. However, given the nervous expression on this baby’s face, we’d venture a guess and say that this baby is not all that stoked on what is happening.

The goat, however, appears to be having a grand ol’ time. That, or it is just indescribably hungry and taking the blue of this baby’s garment to be some sort of tasty morsel. Whatever the reasoning, somebody managed to get this excruciatingly cute photo out of it. Our thanks go out to them.
17. Goats for the win
Sometimes, people like to try and compare their pets to see who will come out on top. Here, that is clearly no competition. Given that two of these sailors own goats and only one owns a dog, we know who the real winners are. Honestly, it wasn’t even a competition.

It normally wouldn’t even take two goats to bleat this dog out of the competition. Oh well. The results here don’t really matter, considering that each of the animals is exceptionally cute. We’ll rank them all a 10, just so nobody feels left out.
18. Mama?
It is no mystery to us why this goat thinks this young lady is its mom. She’s holding it, and it is being held by her. At a young age, there are few other indicators of what is and is not your mom. OK, this isn’t exactly true — there may be several indicators.

Among these would likely be species-congruent traits — in this case, fur, hooves, and maybe even some way through which the mother could feed the goat. Anyway, even if the mother-infant bond between these two is disputable, the cuteness is not.
19. Goat cart
Did you know that the phrase “go-kart” was really just a mispronunciation of the words “goat cart”? OK, not really. But wouldn’t that be a fun historical anecdote? Anyway, at a time when horse-drawn carriages were a thing, there was also such a thing as goat-drawn carriages.

These carriages had many advantages. Among them were that the things were easier to manage. They were also smaller, so having your child run to the grocery store to pick up a generous amount of groceries wouldn’t pose too steep a problem. Oh, and of course the cart was also cuter.
20. Is this how you do it?
If you have a sick goat, you only really have one recourse — to take it to the vet, of course! Given that we all share a love of goats, or at least should by this point, you must take them to the veterinarian when they’re sick.

If you don’t, especially when they look as cute as this little guy, you are clearly a monster. Fortunately, we know that few (if any) of you out there would leave a poor goat sick with no health care. Here, we see this desire to keep goats healthy in full swing. Hooray!
21. The GOAT
Many people refer to Tom Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, as the GOAT. Of course, when they do, they’re insinuating that he’s the greatest quarterback of all time. However, the true GOAT here is that goat that is wearing a Tom Brady jersey.

And why, exactly, is this goat wearing a Tom Brady jersey? Well, because he’s supporting the GOAT, of course! This goat was dressed up by its owner to support the quarterback during one of their games. What they should’ve done was have the goat lead the team.
22. Goat pride
This goat, unlike those who support certain famous football players, is an avid fan of football. That, or their owner just has a certain predilection for the colors of South Africa. Either way, this goat is fond of displaying some national pride.

Unfortunately for us, we are not privy to the actual intention of this display by our furry mammalian friend. If we were, then we would have a better idea of what political flavors it is trying to convey. Regardless of its affiliations, however, we can all agree that this is a rather cool goat.
23. Goat cool
Sometimes you meet people who are just brimming with coolness. Who would have thought that the same thing could happen with goats? Here, we have one such goat. One look at this furry fellow and you just know you’ve been outranked.

Now, whether it’s the red glasses or the pool float that says, “I’m just here to beach,” you know that this goat means business. If we were to see it at a party, we would definitely try to strike up a conversation. I mean, who wouldn’t?
24. Walking the goat
There’s a popular yo-yo trick we’ve all heard of called “Walk the Dog.” But far fewer of us have heard of the lesser-known trick, “Walk the Goat.” Now, while the differences between the two are difficult to notice, they are clear to those in the know.

OK, just kidding. We’re not aware of any yo-yo trick called, “Walk the Goat.” However, if there were one, we would definitely think it has to capture some semblance of this cuteness. If not, it would by far be an inferior trick!
25. Goat and clones
Dolly the sheep is famous for having been the first fully cloned animal to stay alive for the full duration of a life. However, Dolly the sheep was not the only cloned animal. Here, we have a goat (way cooler, in our humble opinion) that underwent the same cloning process.

Cloned in India, this goat represents many of the modern advances in science, covering fields as diverse as embryology, cellular biology, and biotechnology. While the convention to broadcast the goat to the world was held during a gathering of veterinary scientists, it could have been anywhere, really.
26. A goat in uniform
You know what they say about a person in uniform — dashing, stunning, debonair. Well, it turns out the same thing could be said of the goat. When dressed up, the furry animal clearly outstrips its mammalian brethren.

Given these circumstances, you would think it unwise for the people in this photo to be standing next to such a stunning and regal creature. It clearly puts them to shame. Maybe the next time, the people in charge will just send in the goats. That’s what the people came in to see anyway, right?
27. ‘Why me?’
It’s not always fun and games as a pet goat. While much of your time will be spent eating grass and frolicking through the fields, it is invariable that you will also spend some of that time getting flung through the air by your young and vivacious owners.

Here, we have just such a scene. Clearly just trying to relax after a long day of munching, this goat got no reprieve when it was just swooped up and swung around. While we empathize with this goat’s place, we also appreciate that the scene is adorable. And for that, we give this child our blessings.
28. A man’s best friend
Everybody says (or at least has said in one form or another) that a dog is a man’s best friend. While this statement has been modified by some to replace “dog” with “cat,” or “cat” with “bunny,” the true victor of this position is the goat — something we all knew from the beginning.

Such a placement doesn’t really beckon an argument. Any who are tempted to disagree can merely look at the chemistry shared between these two. Their ineffable bond is clearly something for the books. They will go down in history as those who changed goats to be man’s true best friend.
29. Goats in a tree
Here, we have some goats in a tree. The quintessential experience here is that we are witnessing a bunch of goats trying to eat some fruit — this is, after all, why they are in the tree in the first place. However, these goats are surely adorable.

There’s something undeniably adorable about goats in a tree. Whether it’s the fact that it’s a bunch of cute mammals in a place you wouldn’t expect them, or that it’s just a bunch of furry animals, they’re cute regardless.
30. A goat takes sides
We don’t know goats to get too political. For the most part, we know them to stay in their lanes, let people think what they want, and get on with their lives just like anybody else. But not here — not with this goat. This one feels the need to express its opinion, and to do so hard.

In 2008, this goat hopped aboard the Obama bandwagon and wanted to bleat it from the rooftops. However, considering the goat is not all that great with door handles and elevators, it took to the streets instead. Parading down the streets of New York, this goat likely played a pivotal role in Obama’s induction.
